Meray Paas Tum Ho famed writer and director, Khalil ur Rehman Qamar has been in the news for quite some time for various reasons, the latest being his second marriage rumors with Eshal Fayyaz, the heroine of his directorial debut, Kaaf Kangana.
Speculations were surfacing on social media regarding their relationship for many days. Both the parties rubbished the claims in their own ways.
Eshal uploaded a video and cleared the air on rumors about her marriage with Khalil ur Rehman, “There is no truth in the rumors that are doing rounds since yesterday. I haven’t gotten married to anyone, I am very much single,’’ Eshal said.
“My relationship with Khalil ur Rehman Qamar is that of one between an actor and a director, nothing more than that.” Eshal Fayyaz further clarified.
The MPTH director also refuted the claims in an interview with Express Tribune, but not as diligently as Eshal. Keeping up to his usual misogynistic choice of words, Khalil ur Rehman Qamar called Eshal Fayyaz one of the ‘second-rate women’ that he would never want to be associated with.
“I strongly reject all such rumors as sheer propaganda. I am happy and satisfied in my life and also request everyone spreading these claims to not associate my name with such second-rate women,” said Qamar in a rather condescending tone.
Khalil further added that he has no plans for marriage as of now.
“I have no intentions of marrying right now,” he added, “So I request the public to not believe in such things since I have no time to mingle with such people and issues in my life,” he added further, once again looking down upon actress Eshal and other ladies from the showbiz fraternity.
The critically acclaimed playwright had also shared a post shared on social media, rejecting ‘absurd and baseless’ news of his marriage with Eshal.
‘I strongly condemn and reject absurd and baseless news disseminated by All Pakistan Drama Page of my marriage with the heroine of my film Kaaf Kangna. It is so shameless to peep into the personal lives of artists like us and destroy our images. I solemnly declare nothing of the sort ever happened between me and the heroine and we were just working together to complete the project in quite a professional way,’ wrote the playwright on his official Facebook.
