Zebaish is a drama produced by Hum Television Network. It is written by Bushra Ansari and directed by Iqbal Hussain. It is a story of love, hate, fame, and fortune.
Zebaish storyline is a good one but how it is presented is a cringe. The lead actors in every role seem too excited in each scene. After a few minutes of overacting and intense dramatic openings in the first two episodes, you expect it to get better. It does improve and turns into a comedy show.
A big lawyer, who is always short of cash (God Knows Why!) and spends his time demanding a dutiful wife from an actress on who’s money he is enjoying his gambling. He marries a widow of his office peon and has cheap, sleazy conversations with her. The stepdaughter is another cutout from the Indian Drama industry. The character of Tashi is truly inspired by Komonika.
Zara Noor Abbas and Asad Siddiqui are to be in a romantic scene anytime soon. We must say we really wanted to see them on screen but not like this. The pair is a complete waste.
Tons of overacting, too many confusions and the sleazy romance kind of makes you want to vomit. The drama is basically unbearable at the current point.
As we hope it’ll get better we do wish it gets less overexcited as well.
