Mansha Pasha and Agha Ali will star together on the reel for the first time in a two-part telefilm. The actors are gearing up for the series which is based on the complexities of a young couple, striving to cope with life after a tragic phase.
According to her latest interview with a renowned local daily, Mansha will play an impactful character. She will essay Mahira, a woman who wasn’t ambitious initially but due to something unexpected that happens in her life she has to start working.
“It’s very good to show that women don’t necessarily start off being ambitious – sometimes they don’t even work because of ambition but because of necessity,” Mansha said revealing the core message behind the play.
Agha Ali shared a BTS image from the play on his Instagram handle and shared his experience of working with his co-star. He will presumably essay Mansha’s life partner in the play but more deets about his character are yet to be revealed.
Directed by Muhammad Ashar Asghar and produced by Habib Jaan, the telefilm will explore various interesting stories every week under the banner of A-Plus Television. No release date has been announced as yet.
