In Episode 13 of Meray Paas Tum Ho is getting more and more interesting with every passing episode. Although one might have seen a similar story on television quite a few times, its the treatment that the cast and crew of Meray Paas Tum Ho has given to this drama, that makes it different. Khalil ur Rehman Qamar’s dialogues are not only heavy, but they also brim with emotions and meaning and the way they’re delivered by the lead cast, it makes you feel for each and every one of them.
This week’s highlight happened to be Mateen Sahab who passed away after confessing his heartache to Danish. Mateen Sahab was a sad man but he never let it show to Danish. And in him, Danish had found his only friend after Mehwish left him. Mateen Sahab made Danish realize that it’s easy to forgive and move on than to hold onto something because the one who cheats in a relationship will suffer the most.
It seems Mehwish has just begun her journey to her suffering because it is shown that Shahwar has no intention of marrying her but only keeping her at his side. A mistress who is readily available whenever he wants her to be.
On the other hand, Danish is trying to pick up the pieces of his life. His emotional state is traumatic and that has affected Roomi as well, who has become anti-social. The best scenes of the drama included Roomi and Danish and Danish and Mateen Shaab. The exchange of dialogues between Danish and Roomi was beautiful, explaining the pain of a husband who had lost his wife and a child who had lost his mother.
Roomi, who seems too young, turns out to be very smart for his age, realizing how his mother betrayed his father, without Danish even telling him anything negative. I just hope the kid is able to pull out of this trauma and the story highlights the well being of a child who is pulled between his parents’ separation.
Again, Mohammad Ahmed, Shees Saji Gul and of course Humayun Saeed stole the show this week. Amazing dialogues and high-end performances marked this episode of Meray Pass Tum Ho.
Now, with Mateen Sahab gone and Danish realizing Roomi’s teacher is Mateen Sahab’s daughter, Hania, it seems a new chapter is about to begin in everybody’s life from the next week. We’re staying tuned to Meray Pass Tum Ho, what about you?
