Hina Altaf and Agha Ali Sued For Alleged Fraud

On the orders of a local court in Islamabad, an FIR has been registered against renowned actors Hina Altaf and Agha Ali and some other members of a drama production team for alleged fraud and theft of valuables.

Additional district and sessions judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar gave the order in response to the complaint filed by producer Nosheen Agha of Nosh films.

According to the complaint filed by Nosheen Agha, she had paid Rs1.45 million to the actress, actor, and production team for producing a television serial for Pakistan Television (PTV).

Nosheen claimed in her complaint that Hina Altaf & Agha Ali fled from the set on November 16th with their payment of Rs 12 million, as opposed to their contractual obligation which had to bind them to work from Nov 3 to Nov 23.

Moreover, she has alleged the director of the production, Sohail Iftikhar and production manager, Gul Zaib Nawaz to have fled on November 17th with the drama script, contracts finished video files and other valuable items.

The court accepted Nosheen’s petition and directed the SHO Kohsar to register FIR as per allegations of the petitioner and thereafter investigate the matter in accordance with the law.

Meanwhile, both Hina Altaf and Agha Ali have refuted these allegations. The Band Khirkiyan actor told, that no one had been paid on time which is why they left.

“No one has left the shooting spell. There were at least more than 40 people on the set including the actors, DOPS, technical staff and other crew members who were not paid on time. Everyone gave her a favor and we all kept working till the situation worsened,”

The Dil-e-Ghumshuda actress stated that she even has evidence to refute these claims and will bring it on media if need be.

“Nothing of this sort has happened – and I have screenshots of my conversation with her which I can reveal to media when needed.”
